My name is Sherry. I am 60 years old, retired and living in North Georgia.

Background

I have had a deteriorating back for over 30 years because of a couple of car wrecks. There have been several times during these years I would be in the bed for weeks at a time because of my back hurting so badly. Most of the discs in my back were flat because of the wrecks and calcium spurring had started on my vertebrae. My vertebrae were chipped and ragged on the edges. The nerves leaving my spine were in distress because of the calcium spurring narrowing the openings they traveled in to the rest of my body. I have been in constant pain for the majority of the 30+ years.

The week of my Life Group meeting, my back had had a flare up and was causing me a lot of pain. I was walking with a cane; had purchased a new back brace and was wearing it; and had set-up the bedside commode because I was not walking much at all because of the pain being so severe. I had not planned on going but my Life Group facilitator told me we were having a lady speak to our group and she had the gift of healing. So, I managed to get myself to the meeting.

Prayer

Gemma prayed over me in the name of Jesus for healing of my back.

Results

Gemma told me to look for the healing (rather than focusing on the problem) and after a couple of days of soreness, the pain left. Four days later, as I was fixing my hair, I just happened to feel of the back of my neck and I was surprised to feel that it was completely smooth. My back, my neck especially, was very knobby because of the spurring on my vertebrae. Those at my neck had just recently gotten larger. My spine is completely smooth now. I have been pain free ever since.
